Chiropractic involves shifting a person’s joints, often the spine, to try to fix an imbalance that causes pain. Chiropractic is considered to be a complimentary or alternative treatment option, meaning that it is not part of standard medicine. Research suggests that some people benefit from chiropractic treatment a lot, especially those suffering from lower back pain.
