Local Services

NC Health Info is not a complete listing of health services!

Through its Go Local database, NC Health Info links to Web sites of local health services and programs around North Carolina. With very few exceptions, only resources with a Web presence are included in NC Health Info.

The rapidly changing World Wide Web means that this effort will never be complete, and therefore no list of resources, healthcare providers, programs or services can be comprehensive. NC Health Info always welcomes suggestions of sites to include. Please use our suggestion form to submit your recommendations.

Services provided by the resources found in NC Health Info may not be available to all residents of North Carolina. Please check with the providers or programs to ensure that the services you seek are available to you.

NC Health Info tries to capture the primary aspects of each Web site included, however it is possible that some features have been missed. Your feedback and comments are welcomed. Please use our suggestion form to alert us of a new aspect of a site.

Web Site descriptions and healthcare provider services

NC Health Info relies entirely on each Web site's representation of the services provided, and no effort is made to check or verify descriptions of services, program offerings, or other details. Users should contact healthcare providers, facilities and organizations directly to ensure that the personnel or services they seek are available.

The state of North Carolina licenses certain health care providers, and many occupational licenses and credentials can be verified online. See the list of NC Occupational Licensing Boards.

Web Sites are dynamic, and every effort is made to revisit sites and keep NC Health Info up-to-date. Please use our suggestion form to notify NC Health Info of any new services or features.
